1. Nature of the platform
eTeachers.pk is an online marketplace that connects students and parents with tutors who offer home tuition, online tuition, or teaching at academies. We provide a platform for discovery, comparison, and connection. We do not employ, hire, or contract tutors as our staff. All tutoring arrangements—including fees, schedule, curriculum, and conduct—are solely between the student (or parent/guardian) and the tutor. We are not a party to any such arrangement.
2. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee any specific academic results, grades, exam outcomes, or educational achievements. Learning outcomes depend on many factors, including the student's effort, the tutor's teaching, and the subject matter. Any testimonials or success stories on the Platform (if any) represent individual experiences and are not a guarantee of similar results for others.
3. Accuracy of information
While we strive to present accurate information, we do not warrant that profiles, listings, qualifications, fees, or any other content on the Platform are complete, current, or error-free. Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their own profiles. We may take steps to verify certain information but do not guarantee the quality, credentials, or conduct of any tutor. Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before engaging a tutor.
4. Content and third-party links
Articles, blog posts, and other content on the Platform are for general information and do not constitute professional advice (e.g. legal, educational, or career advice). We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from our Platform. Links do not imply endorsement. Use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
5. User responsibility
You use the Platform and any communications or meetings with tutors at your own risk. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or appropriateness of any tuition or interaction between users. It is your responsibility to verify a tutor's identity, credentials, and suitability, and to agree on terms (fees, schedule, cancellation) directly with the tutor. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and welfare of minors using the Platform or engaging tutors.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, eTeachers.pk and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any user or tutor; (c) any tutoring or educational outcome; (d) unauthorised access to or alteration of your data; or (e) any other matter relating to the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases our liability will be limited to the maximum permitted by law.
7. No professional relationship
Use of the Platform does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and eTeachers.pk. We do not provide educational, legal, or career advice. For specific advice, please consult a qualified professional.
8. Governing law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
