Please read these terms carefully. By using eTeachers.pk you agree to be bound by this agreement and our policies.
1. Acceptance of terms
Welcome to eTeachers.pk. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the eTeachers.pk website, mobile applications (if any), and related services (together, the "Platform"). By registering, browsing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of the platform
eTeachers.pk is a marketplace that connects students and parents ("Students") with tutors who offer home tuition, online tuition, or academy-style teaching ("Tutors"). We do not employ Tutors. We provide a platform to search, compare, and connect; all tutoring arrangements, fees, schedules, and quality of teaching are between you and the Tutor. We are not a party to any contract between Students and Tutors.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, or you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and current information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent or harmful to others.
4. Use of the platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: (a) use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) harass, abuse, or harm other users; (d) post false, misleading, or offensive content; (e) attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts; (f) scrape or use automated means to collect data without our permission; or (g) use the Platform to promote competing services. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
5. Tutor listings and profiles
Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, qualifications, experience, fees, and availability. We may verify certain information but do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any listing. Students are encouraged to conduct their own checks and communicate directly with Tutors before engaging them. We do not endorse any particular Tutor and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Tutors.
6. Payments and fees
Any fees for tuition are agreed and paid directly between Students and Tutors. eTeachers.pk may in the future charge platform fees (e.g. for featured listings or premium features); such fees will be clearly stated before you commit. We are not responsible for disputes over payment between users. Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are matters to be agreed between you and the Tutor.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform and its content (including logos, design, text, and software) are owned by eTeachers.pk or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. reviews, messages); you grant us a licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee any particular academic or educational outcome from using the Platform or from any Tutor. For full limitations please see our Disclaimer.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eTeachers.pk and its officers, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or from any interaction with Tutors or other users. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or for any other reason we consider appropriate. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
11. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Platform.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
